Shopping in Aspen

To many who visit our little piece of paradise known as Aspen, shopping is the best game in town. Aspen is home to flagship stores for Ralph Lauren, Prada, Gucci and Louis Vuitton to name a few.

One of the great things about shopping in Aspen is it is so easily accessible, almost everything is within a two block walk of one another and the majority of the shops and boutiques are located on the “walking malls’ three blocks of brick paved shopping paradise complete with streams, pine trees and benches to rest on and take it all in.

One of the locals favorite places to shop is Boogies, a high end and hip clothing and shoe store with the largest selection of jeans in Aspen. The owner Boogie Weinglass owned that blast from the shopping past Merry-Go-Round that fashion forward chain store that was in every mall in America, remember, where you got your parachute pants. After you have found your next favorite pair of jeans head upstairs to Boogies Diner, if your up for it try the Reuben, but if you still want to fit in those jeans you may want to get Peps Power Plate.

Maybe you are ready for something luxurious against your skin Loro Piana should have what you are looking for. Loro Piana is an Italian clothing company specializing in high-end, luxury cashmere and wool products from the finest wool in the world.
